About the project

ENTER-VALUE project attempts to establish a Holistic Enterprise Support Mechanism, encourage networking among tourism, retail trade and creative economy and build new place brands based on local natural and cultural assets. 

ENTERVALUE encompasses the development of a Value Chain Strategy among tourism, retail trade and creative economy in the c-b area, the installation and equipped of two HESMs co-spaces (in Greece and Bulgaria), as well as the preparation of a tailor-made Value Chain’ Tool-kit and Modules and the development of a Virtual Business Simulation Platform. 

Along with consultation activities with key stakeholder’s addresses the creation of a mobile advisory unit consisted by an International Mentor’s Network, interconnected with the Universities’ Career Offices and with any other constitution related to tourism, retail trade and creative economy. To this end, the project seeks the establishment of a solid and stable platform of cooperation generating economies of scale and providing opportunities to exploit the comparative advantages that the region has to offer.

Objectives 

The overall objective of the ENTER-VALUE project is to increase competitiveness of existing business and stimulate business creation by: 

  1. establishing a Holistic Enterprise Support Mechanism (HESM) which involves:
  • training
  • coaching
  • mentoring
  1. encouraging networking among companies in the tourism sector with retail trade and creative economy and 
  2. building new place brands based on local natural and cultural assets

To this end, the main goal is to effectively capture value in the final markets, in order to generate greater profits and create mutually acceptable results for all companies involved in the Value Chain (VC), from production to consumption and disposal.

In this respect, ENTERVALUE aims to keep current job positions and create new job opportunities. 

The specific objectives of the project are:

  • The development of a Value Chain Strategy among tourism, retail trade and creative economy in the c-b area
  • The preparation of a tailor-made Value Chain’ Tool-kit and Modules  
  • The installation and equipped of two HESM co-spaces, able to fully support teams by providing them a modern working environment with all the flexibility needed to adapt to different and changing requirements. 
  • The development of a Virtual Business Simulation Platform
  • The launching of an online Workspace and Visual Pitch
  • The launching of two holistic support mechanisms (HESMs), involving training, coaching and mentoring support as well as business missions.
  • The consultation with key stakeholders, policy recommendation and capitalization.

In this respect, the project seeks the establishment of a solid and stable platform of c-b, generating economies of scale and providing opportunities to exploit the comparative advantages that the region offers.

Benefiting Target Group

The main benefiting target groups of the ENTER-VALUE project are the existing business in tourism, retail trade and creative economy, as well as new entrepreneurs with promising ideas in the same fields. Special attention will be put to any entrepreneur who desires to further expand her/his business and improve her/his knowledge and skills related to entrepreneurship aiming to increase their competitiveness.

The expected outputs

The expected outputs are directly related to the specific objectives and altogether comprise the means to achieve the project’s and program’s overall objectives. The expected outputs are summarized as follows:

  • information & publicity

  • activities outside the eligible area

Expected Results

The project results of the project within the programming period as well as soon after, include:

  • (100) hosted entrepreneurs & teams are received support in HESM. 
  • (250) participants are involved in Demo days
  • (80) new entrepreneurs are involved in Pitching Events
  • (200) young scientists, (100) local companies, (40) policy makers & (25) experts make use of the Value Chain Strategy among tourism, retail trade and creative economy, Good Practices Guide, Tool Kit and Modules.
  • (120) entrepreneurs participate in HESM program
  • (200) local companies visit Virtual Business Simulation Platform and the Visual Pitch whereas 100 of the makes use the Online Workspace.
  • (15) entrepreneurs develop their own new business plan
  • (5) EU institutions, (10) national institutions, (30) regional and local institutions will be informed on project results
  • (50) entrepreneurs, (10) local authorities & (10) education institutions participate in the consultations with key stakeholders.
  • (10.000) citizens are the target group of Mass Media Campaign
  • (30) policy makers, SMEs & staff members are affected by mission’s organization
  • (800) visits to the web site annually

The sustainability of results

ENTER-VALUE is developed and is going to be implemented in a way that ensures the durability of its achievements. This means that the future use of its outcomes and deliverables was considered. Thus, the background of the project and the multiple benefits, results and outputs are addressed to an audience capable of making use of these outcomes. The anticipated follow-up, post project actions will include the following:

  • All deliverables can be immediately utilized and put into practice towards added value and profitable actions for the involved bodies.
  • The printed and digital materials that will be produced will be available, through internet, beyond the 24 months of the project’s duration.
  • The development of a sound network among the involved regions will continue cooperating after the ENTER-VALUE completion.
  • The studies that will be developed through the project are a scientific stock for the entire region and will be available in educational institutions, research institutes and individual researchers and scientists.
  • All project Beneficiaries will be involved in the development of best practices and will therefore have an added incentive to widen the project’s implementation when opportunity presents itself. 
  • The knowledge networking platforms will continue to constitute a stable & permanent basis for information & awareness-raising in the long term, as they will bring significant benefits to stakeholders. 
  • From a financial point of view, no additional funding will be necessary in the long term. 
  • Needed human resources will be covered by existing executives of the participating partners. 
  • The innovative technological approach of the project will assist in the continuous dissemination of results.
  • The partners have committed to contribute to the project’s functioning and promotion and to cooperate with other legal entities for its optimum use in the future.
